Hope
Ah, Hope! What would life be, stripped of thy encouraging smiles, that teach us to look behind the dark clouds of today, for the golden beams that are to gild the morrow.
I just now got the notification that you'd left a comment yesterday afternoon...just a little behind, huh? LOL Anyway, thank you very much.
There were originally two seagulls in that pic, side-by-side. The second one made the pic lopsided and I couldn't figure out how to crop it to look right with him there. Sooo...I just took him out completely. LOL
The one you see looked as though he was going to attack me...was looking me dead in the eyes. :S Made me think of that Alfred Hitchcock movie "The Birds" (Which was shot mainly in Southport, NC). The funny part is that Southport is only 8 air miles from where I took this pic. LOL
I definitely had a Southern evening yesterday...a nice, sunshiny Southern one, even. :)
"What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity. They are trifles, to be sure; but, scattered along life's pathway, the good they do is inconceivable." ~Joseph Addison
