Challenge to Winter

Come, Winter! Blow!
Your winds, with all their chill,
Do not scare me.
The power in your frost
Burns hot, impossibly, in my flesh.
I do not fear you, Winter,
For your might may thaw
Under the glow of the sun.

Hi Trina

I hope this is your name....

I just spend an hour reading all your thoughts and musings and feelings on your website.

Tried to leave you a message (more like a letter) in your comments box, but got sidetracked with cyber problems so I am writing to you here.

I really like your view on life, you express all my feelings on life so well and here you are 20 years younger than I am.

To cut it short, may I please link to your blog from mine. Mine happened all on its own and seems to progress and take on a life of its own, but I want to give my visitors the experience of thoughts, wisdom (where did you get yours???) and hey, I just love your thinking and want to share it with everybody as you really speak to my soul

Oh yeah, a happy birthday to you too on Christmas Day. Double blessings!!!

Hello, Elsie!

Wow. Thank you VERY much for the wonderful sentiments and compliments regarding my blog and my MySpace. I really don't know what to say. It makes me feel great to know that you enjoyed reading the things I've posted and written.

Each and every day, I choose a quote or poem, which expresses the way that I'm feeling at the time. I dig through the photos I've taken and select one that seems to also convey the same feelings. There are times when I find the perfect words and do not have a picture that "fits". That's when I take out my camera and go on the hunt of a fitting photo subject. :)

As far as my MySpace...what you see there are many of my own thoughts and feelings, as well as various quotes that I've collected. I'm glad that you liked it, as I feel that both it and this blog are extensions of my personality. It's flattering that you took the time to read everything.

You are welcome to post a link to my blog or anything else of mine. It would be my honor. To know that I've touched someone in such a way gives me a great feeling inside.

Thank you very much for the Christmas and birthday wishes. :) I hope that you have a wonderful Christmas, as well. Hope to see you here again soon. Thank you once again for writing. Your messages brought a smile to my heart.
