Hitting The Mark

Unexpected til we came & saw it
Unbelievable as soon as seen
Hit the mark despite not aiming for it
Isn't that how things have always been?

LMAO!! You are a nut (and that's one of the reasons I like ya' so well). :P And, in case I haven't mentioned it before, you kill me, too. LOL

I saw one of the wildest things ever today. Couldn't wait to get back home and tell ya' about it. While driving to Elkview, my daughter and I saw these odd looking colors in the clouds...looked like something that you'd see in NASA photos of outer space. It looked like the sun was behind the cloud and making it turn orangeish-yellow, but the sun was way away from these things.

Once we got closer, we could see that there were more colors. What we were seeing were miniature rainbows that were only the length of each of these single clouds. I got a pic of one of them, but it isn't the greatest. Couldn't get anywhere fast enough to get a clear shot. I've never seen anything like it in my life, though.

Anyway...just hadda' tell you about that. I'll show ya' the pic, too, when I get it on the computer. (I just got home. LOL)

HASG2!! :)

Ok, that pic's up on the next post now. The mini rainbow is to the left of that first distant power pole...about 1/3 of the way through the pic horizontally...and right above the mountains. You will have to look at the full sized pic to see it, probably. (If it won't let you, let me know and I'll post it somewhere else or something.)
