A Creed To Live By

Don't undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others.
It is because we are different that each of us is special.

Don't set your goals by what other people believe
Only you know what is best for you.

Don't take for granted the things closest to your heart.
Cling to them as you would your life, for without them life is meaningless.

Don't let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past or for the future.
By living your life one day at a time, you live all the days of your life.

Don't give up when you still have something to give.
Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying.

Don't be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect.
It is this fragile thread that binds us to each other.

Don't be afraid to encounter risks.
It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave.

Don't shut love out of your life by saying it's impossible to find.
The quickest way to receive love is to give love.
The fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly;
and the best way to keep love is to give it wings.

Don't dismiss your dreams.
To be without dreams is to be without hope;
to be without hope is to be without purpose.

Don't run through life so fast that you forget not only where you've been,
but also where you're going.
Life is not a race,
but a journey to be savored each step of the way.

Hey there!! Thanks for stopping to say Hi. :) Hope all is well with you.

Is it safe to stop in here and say hi??

I wish I could post under anonymous, I don't want your pretty site full of my beloved fans. :(

I will understand if it should become necessary for you to remove this post. LMAO :)

Anyway, Hi and I still like all the pretty stuff. Watch SB though, he will get you in trouble, LOL :)

You may stop in and say hi whenever you want to, MP. I have my settings so that a person has to have a user name to post here....no anonymous people here ;) To tell you the truth, it's actually nice to find comments waiting on me when I check in.

I really appreciate the compliments on my site. I started this place for my own writings, but don't really want just anyone reading them....so I decided to use it to share some of my favorite poems and things as well as some of my photographs. :)

Trouble does seem to follow me around, but somehow I don't think Southern Boy will cause me any of it. LOL :P

Wanted to stop back in and say Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday!

Trouble follows me to, but I think I bring most of it myself :)

Got a question??

How did you get the music on here without the player showing up??

Thanks!

SmileyTD said...

Merry Christmas to you, too!! And thank you for the birthday wishes. :)

In order to have music without a player, you have to use a code or script specifically for background music. I'm posting a link to some premade scripts for ya' rather than try to explain how it works. LOL. Just replace the words your-file.mp3 with the URL of your music. (Use option number 2.)

Thank you!

I had music on there once but I had to have the player to and I didn't like it!

Hopefully I can figure this one out!

Thanks again!

It is now 2:15am and I still have not figured it out.

I am giving up on it for tonight! Stupid HTML codes anyway!

Geesh! LMAO~~

SmileyTD said...

This should be easier...below is a link to another site with HTML background music codes instead of JavaScript. (I'd just post the code, but Blogger doesn't allow but a few HTML tags in comments.) You'll see several codes on that page....use either the second or third one in red. Replace http://www.yoursite.com/music/musicfile.wav with your music's URL. Hope that helps. :)
