Fully Alive

I will not die an unlived life.
I will not live in fear
of falling or catching fire.
I choose to inhabit my days,
to allow my living to open me,
to make me less afraid,
more accessible,
to loosen my heart
until it becomes a wing,
a torch, a promise.
I choose to risk my significance;
to live so that which came to me as seed
goes to the next as blossom
and that which came to me as blossom,
goes on as fruit.

To be completely honest i wont be fully alive till i learn how to live.
I need to get over the fear of the unknown lurkin around the house at night. Ok Ok its bigfoot but im still scared >.>
I have to learn that morningis when you wake up not when you go to bed.
And i need to appreciate the fact i have 3 wonderful little demons that i could be doing more then cookin and cleaning for.
When i wake up out of this ongoing blurry daze then ill fully be alive.

p.s oh could some one please get me some advil gonna be a bumpy ride gettin out of the rut.

"I Like Pink", you do make a lot of sense. Like you, I have a few things that I need to do before I am able to feel fully alive. (As you can see, going to bed at a decent hour is one of those for me too. heh) The blurry daze is very familiar territory for me. Seems like I've spent the bigger part of the past five years in one. I have tried to make an active stance to bring myself out of it, but it always seems to come creeping back in when I think I'm doing good and allow myself to relax a little. We'll be alright, though. I feel sure of it.

P.S. If you get that Advil, borrow a couple extra for me. ;)

MP, I'm glad to hear that you had a good Christmas. Mine wasn't too bad...wasn't too good either, but I can't really complain. My kids really enjoyed themselves and we did get to visit with a few of our friends and family members.

Hope you have a good week. :)
